A non-travelling day today, as expected, to enable the crew
to make a visit to a local church, Christ Church at Mountsorrel where a couple
of family baptisms had taken place. I have to say that for late September bordering
on October the weather has been fantastic, in fact for the latter part of the
afternoon we were back into shorts and sandals.
Tomorrow the plan is to head into Leicester city centre for
a couple of nights mooring, it is however about 9 miles and 8 locks so we will
have to see how we get on.
