Just another short hop today to take us to Barnoldswick where we have decided to remain for Sunday since there is a reasonable internet signal enabling Skype calls to family and also to be able to watch the Formula 1 tomorrow.

The trip through Foulridge tunnel was fine, the Nicholson book warned of a dripping roof however it wasn’t anything untoward, I’ve certainly been in wetter tunnels (even though the Foulridge  one passes under the reservoir!).

So another standstill day tomorrow although I will take the opportunity to go swimming at the apparently excellent pool at Barnoldswick.
