A short and fairly easy run down to Trent Lock, where we did the domesticky stuff (water,Elsan and rubbish) but sadly there were no moorings available above the lock. Initially we thought we’d have to go on to Beeston, about 5 miles, but as we went through Trent Lock a vacancy became available on the 72 hour moorings on the river, which we gladly took up.

 

Tomorrow we’ll press on towards Beeston, and possibly further.
