A short hop now into Nottingham and safely moored up on the Castle Visitor Moorings, which will be convenient for the weekend shop. Passed Nottingham Marina and was considering topping up with fuel but the fuel bay seemed to be barred off. Once moored up I then walked back to enquire the cost of diesel and at £1.43 a litre it looks as though I’ll be reversing back on Saturday to fill up. Glad we got the gas from Beeston Marina though where it was £43 for a 13Kg bottle, at the Nottingham Marina she tells me they’ve just had a big price hike and it is £51 for the same bottle!

So we should be here until Saturday morning.
