And in glorious sunshine we had a pleasant day’s cruise from Hazelford to Newark, taking about two and a half hours. I forgot to mention that yesterday we had another flash of the domestic alternator warning light as we left Gunthorpe Lock, but reducing the engine revs put it out and it remained out for the rest of the trip. Despite running the washing machine today as we travelled, on a hotter wash for the towels, no sign of any warning light. Aren’t intermittent faults wonderful!

 

I think we’ll be here until Thursday (possibly) before heading towards Cromwell and the tidal Trent.
