A straightforward day’s cruise, stopping off at Morrisons and Tesco for essential supplies (more beer) and then on to what is essentially the bottom of the Hatton Flight of locks. We will need to go into Warwick tomorrow before we set off but I would guess we should get up the flight (21 locks) in something like 3 hours so even if we don’t set off until midday we’ll be at the top by 3pm. The forecast for tomorrow is rain to begin with, but sunny intervals by lunchtime, so setting off later could be an advantage.
As an added bonus, today I got hold of some free wood so will be able to chop up some kindling over the next few days.
