After nearly a week at Thrupp, we are back on the move heading north. We took advantage of the mooring to make a few trips into Oxford, twice by bike and once on the bus to go and see the Last Supper at Pompeii exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum. Generally quite a pleasant mooring and worth remembering that Thrupp Canal Cruising Club, who have moorings at Thrupp, are members of the Association of Waterways Cruising Clubs, as are we, so if stuck for a mooring there, TCCC are another option for mooring.

I had hoped to get back as far as Aynho today, but quit when about the 4^th heavy rain shower came down, so we are about three and threequarter miles short of the target, not that it was particularly important.

The aim for tomorrow, weather permitting will be to get to Banbury, or its outskirts.
