Having now sorted out one or two minor problems, we are back on the move again. The Eberspacher heating issue wasn’t resolved by my changing the control box on it so I went to Days Afloat in Braunston, the place that repaired our problem back in 2015 and they fixed it again, although I suspect it was just a faulty fuse, but at least it is back up and working.

We’ve also stocked up with coal from Midland Chandlers at the rate of 6 bags for £54 which is much the same as it’s been for at least the last 3 years.  

We are now en route back to Birmingham, so we’ve got one or two locks ahead of us over the next few days.
