Now that we are on Stratford Canal it is back to narrow locks, which are a lot easier, physically to work, so we got up the Lapworth flight today quite quickly. Weather held out OK and there were a few boats on the moves so a lot of the locks were in our favour. No more locks at now (other than a stop lock at Kings Norton that is always open) all the way back to Hawne basin. We’ll be stopping off in Birmingham for a few days on the way, provided that we can find moorings.
