As planned we reached the outskirts of Banbury and decided to remain in the more rural area rather than going into the town which is now a bit of a building site. We will need to stop off to top up the water tank and visit the supermarket tomorrow for for tonight we can have a quiet night.

The trip today went pretty well, weather held up OK, not too many boats on the move although one has passed us the information that the broken lift bridge in Banbury has now been repaired as yesterday the canal was closed.

For tomorrow, we haven’t yet decided how far we will be going, I would hope at least as far as Cropredy, but who knows.
