A bit of a rush to get as far as possible before the rains came, but as it turned out we reached my preferred mooring at Lower Radbourne by lunchtime and whilst having lunch the rains came down. We passed the boats currently being used by a TV company, filming another celebrity series of boaters, this time it is supposed to be Anne Diamond, Jenny Bond, Bill Oddie and Pete Waterman, the only one I saw was Pete Waterman who was steering the boat to the lock that we had just left (with the gate already open for him).

We stopped off at Fenny Compton marina for some diesel, not too bad a price at 82p for domestic and £1.31 for propulsion. Since our home marina is always the cheapest, I put in enough to get us back there, about 70 litres.

 Being somewhat in the middle of nowhere here, we are a bit stumped for the weekend shopping, I hope that we get to Napton tomorrow which is then within travelling distance of the supermarket at Southam.
