To the pleasant village of Wrenbury a place that I do remember from previous trips along the Llangollen. There is a hire boat centre right by the lift bridge but, seeing as today is a Thursday, all of the boats are currently out on hire, it will get a lot busier over the next few days as Friday, and Saturday are both changeover days for hirers. Since I’ve managed to break the lock on the back door of the boat (again) we are now looking for chandlers to get a replacement and it looks as though the best option will be to go back to Nantwich which is only about 4 miles away by road (bike) although it is twice that by canal. Will probably need to get up a bit earlier tomorrow to pop back since it looks as though the rest of the chandlers up the canal will be much the same as the one here in Wrenbury and not stock such things.
