Another rather relaxed day with only 2.1 miles under our
belt, having said that we’ve achieved all we wanted to do today, weekend
shopping and trip on Battlefield Line steam railway. Given the weather today it
is fortunate that we didn’t just hunker down and wait for the rain and storms
to pass. Tomorrow we should reach the end of the canal and turn around on our
way back. We still have plenty of time to get to Tamworth provided that nothing
mechanical goes wrong.
