Finally we are onto the Llangollen Canal although it was a bit of a faff coming up Hurleston Locks. It looked as though there was a bit too much enthusiasm on some earlier boats going up and getting more than two boats into a lock pound which meant that as two boats go up they take two lots of water out of the next pound, and several of the pounds were badly depleted in water.
Once again I don’t yet know how far we’ll go tomorrow, just as far as we want and then stop, there is no rush to get anywhere.
