Well we had a couple of good days in Llangollen, managed a 8 mile walk along the Offa’s Dyke path and bought a couple of pairs of what I hope are good quality walking socks in a Llangollen outdoor supplies shop. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to test them whilst still in the area, so that if they aren’t up to scratch I’ll be local to be able to return them.
We have only moved a short distance out of Llangollen onto the first available moorings since we were quite late leaving 3.30pm which didn’t leave time to get to the Chirk moorings on the other side of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The paid for moorings in Llangollen are only available for 48 hours, and our time was up at 5pm.
