So we are now back onto the Llangollen Canal proper and, after stocking up for the weekend, we’ll be heading off towards Llangollen itself. Not sure yet whether we’ll set off tomorrow after doing the shop, or leave it until Saturday morning, the weather forecast for both days seems pretty benign.

One advantage of being back here in Ellesmere is that we now have both a phone signal and workable internet, something that has been somewhat lacking whilst down on the Montgomery Canal.
