Having stayed in Huntingdon for the 48 hours we have now moved onto St Neots, mainly because it is a good location for the weekend shop. In terms of mooring space, it beats Huntingdon since there are 4 good mooring locations with a lot of room and, if it became busy, the river is plenty wide enough to double up, or even triple up if necessary.

 We stopped off on the way at Buckden marina for the domesticky stuff, and will have to remember to call in on the way back since both water and elsan are free.

We’ll probably stay here until Saturday and then drift on further towards Bedford.
