And now we return to Ely, doesn’t seem like it was 3 weeks since we were last here. The plan is to stay put on Tuesday since the weather forecast is rubbish (wind & rain) and then head on towards Denver Sluice on Wednesday, when the forecast is just for wind.

Whilst staying in Ely we took the opportunity to have a wander around the Cathedral, and, a bit like the Cathedral at Peterborough for the people at the time it was built (1200’s) it would have been a staggering building to see.
