Reached the ‘target’ of Anderton after a fairly uneventful day, no locks on the stretch from ‘Bramble Cuttings’ to here so little for the crew to do. The only factor making steering more difficult than necessary was the wind as it has been yet another windy day today. Have made use of the facilities at the Anderton Sanitary Station upon arrival (dumped rubbish, emptied cassettes and filled up with water) so we are ready to go down onto the Weaver Navigation tomorrow for a bit of river cruising. Still haven’t had any contact from CRT as to whether my booking to get into Liverpool has gone through so will need to give them a ring tomorrow (office not open on Tuesdays). Should be able to include some photos of the Anderton Boat Lift tomorrow as well.
