After a particularly windy couple of days the wind abated a bit today for our passage from Braunston across here to Calcutt.We  stopped off at the locks to take on some fuel at Calcutt Boats, price quite reasonable at 72p per litre so we took on 104 litres. We decided not to continue on down Stockton Locks since the forecast was for rain moving in after 4pm, and the forecasters were right. Now pleasantly moored in the middle of nowhere really, not much in the way of buildings around us, a farmyard about a quarter of a mile north of us.

The forecast for tomorrow is little chance of rain but quite strong winds, fortunately RUNE handles quite well in the wind (tempting fate I suppose!)
