Interesting one here, travelled 6 miles but we are only about ½ mile from where we were previously moored! The reason for that is because we wanted to moor on the outskirts of Chester for a couple of days but the nearest winding point is 3 miles up the canal, so we had to go up there to turn around before coming back to moor. The alternative would have been to reverse up the canal but that would probably have taken longer than the method we used.

We have the weekend shopping in, a full water tank, empty toilet cassettes so we can stay here for a few days if we want to. It is still within fairly easy walking distance of the centre of Chester to enable us to continue exploring the town. I would expect us to be here until at least Monday.
