Another pleasant day’s cruise from Autherley Junction to Penkridge with a stop for lunch at Gailey. Have to say that I do like the Staffs and Worcs Canal. Generally reasonable depth throughout, pleasant countryside and of course it always looks better when the weather has been good as it has today.

Tomorrow we’ll pick up a couple of odds and ends from the Penkridge shops and hopefully get to Tixall Wide for tomorrow night and hope that there is still a mooring available there when we arrive.
