Taking advantage of the good weather, we’ve pressed on as far as Bradley Green, which is about a kilometre from Atherstone Bottom Lock, so a reasonable day’s travel today. Quite a few boats on the move, and it was particularly busy in Hopwas, as the lead boat I got through relatively straightforwardly but there were two boats behind me with two boats coming from the opposite direction and I think they got into a bit of a tangle.

Tomorrow it will be up the Atherstone Flight as see how much further we get.
