A bit of a longer day today to try to keep to schedule, six and a half hours and 15 miles but we are now back to where we needed to be. Not the sort of day I’d normally travel since 50% of it was in the rain but needs must. Also took the opportunity to order a new chimney as we passed through Fradley Junction where the Little Chimney Company boat was moored, finally hoping to get a chimney that actually fits (he told me that it was an unusual sized chimney collar).

Tomorrow the aim will be to clear Glascote locks and see how much further we get.
