So after completing the weekend shop (and topping up with water) we head back out of Market Harborough towards Foxton. Since all of the day boats had gone out this morning, unsurprisingly we met them all coming back this afternoon, but the greatest entertainment was catching up with the day boat from Foxton. It seems that despite travelling from Foxton to Market Harborough and now on their way back, they still hadn’t mastered how theses boats steer and seemed to be spending a lot of time in the weeds. Since we were in no rush, we simply held back and let them get on with it, although once crash into a canalside tree with lots of spiky bits looked a bit painful.

We have moored for the night about a mile from Foxton Locks so a short distance to warm the engine up tomorrow and hopefully then up the flight.
