So after a static week we have now finally moved off, but
only the relatively short distance to Leamington Spa. The temperature has
dropped markedly, to the degree that this morning when we went to top up the
water tank, the first water point we tried was frozen. Fortunately there was
another water point only 200 yards away that hadn’t frozen although the
pressure was quite low and, despite the fact that we only had three days water
usage, it still took nearly 20 minutes to top the tank up.
Part of the reason for stopping here in Leamington Spa is so
that the crew can get some sundries from the shops here, specifically Savers
and Poundland. I also intend to send off my Driving Licence renewal tomorrow
from the main post office here. If we can decide what days we will be
travelling home on we could also pick up our train tickets to get us home over
Christmas, but at the moment we aren’t sure what days we will be travelling.
Haven’t as yet decided how far we will go tomorrow, depends
on the weather (rain forecast!).
