Despite the comparatively early start (08.00am), all went
pretty much according to plan today. Picked up the relatives at Rotherham Lock
and carried them through to Sheffield City Centre where they were able to catch
their train back home again, I think that they seemed to quite enjoy the day,
even though we did get a few rain showers. We have also extended our stay here
in Sheffield until Wednesday morning so we need to be back at Tinsley Number 1
lock by 9.30 on Wednesday morning so, in comparison to today we get a bit of a
lie-in since we won’t need to set off until about 8.30am. This gives us
tomorrow to check out Sheffield City Centre.
