As planned another fairly short day’s travel to bring us as
far as Mexborough and another shortish day tomorrow to take us to Eastwood
Lock. I have phoned up CRT and booked the passage through Tinsley Locks to take
us down into Sheffield on Monday. The start time from Eastwood is earlier than
we would normally start, 8.00am but that should get us into Sheffield reasonably
early. Apparently we will be going through the locks with another boat called
Tir na Nog, I just hope that it isn’t a 60 footer like us or it will be a bit
of a squeeze getting in and out of the locks.
