Today’s short hop went pretty much to plan, stopping off at
Swinton Lock to empty rubbish, toilet cassettes etc, just as well that we had
already filled up with water however since the water tap was a long way back
from the canal and I don’t think that our hosepipe would have reached that far.
Having said that however there is a water tap on the current mooring at
Eastwood Lock so we could have filled here had there been any problem.
Tomorrow
will be a bit harder day since it is 7.5 miles and 16 locks to Sheffield City
Centre.
We have met up with our co-travellers for tomorrow, the boat
Tur na nog who said they plan to stay in Sheffield until Wednesday, might stay
the extra night ourselves, we’ll see.
