A straightforward cruise from Hoscar down here to Appley Bridge starting out hastily in the rain (as there were grasscutters coming along the towpath spraying cut grass everywhere) and ending here about lunchtime in the sunshine. No incidents of any note and not much in the way of boats on the move either. Today we go on to Wigan.
