Well still going according to plan, we are now at Theale
swing bridge as hoped, all we need to do is make the move to Reading tomorrow. Today’s
travelling was quite pleasant although a little faster in some places than I
would necessarily prefer! Woolhampton bridge was quite quick but manageable.
Where some of the boats were moored didn’t help the situation as there seemed
an odd tendency to moor on the outside curve of the river where the current is
invariably at its fastest and it is hardest to actually steer but we have made
it here without mishap. Just hope that the weather continues to hold.
