As planned, yesterday I had a swimming session at the Market Harborough Leisure Centre to take the opportunity to have a 2Km swim, good exercise and felt better for it. Also had a rummage around the town and bought a couple of birthday cards ready for birthdays due this month (and in fact despatched on since the birthday concerned is imminent). 

Today we have moved back along the Harborough arm to Foxton where we have moored  for the day about lunch time since we are in no real rush to get anywhere. The arm to Harborough is very good for wildlife as we saw a couple of Kingfishers both on the way in and again on the way out, lovely birds it’s just a shame that we rarely get close enough to them to photograph.

Tomorrow’s trip (or Wednesday’s if the weather is rubbish) will take us up through the Foxton Locks again (5^th time) but at least now I know to be careful halfway through where the centre pound between the flights isn’t in line with the locks themselves, it has a slight dog-leg.
