Well, we picked up our ‘Friends of the River Nene’ membership at White Mills marina and then pressed on through Wellingborough to tonight’s mooring. Once again it has been a windy day but we haven’t had any real navigation problems as a result of it. Stopped off at Wellingborough for lunch and to top up with water, given the proximity of a factory to the moorings, it isn’t somewhere I’d choose to stay overnight since it was very noisy. The water point wasn’t located in the best position since it is on a bend in the mooring so it’s impossible to moor neatly, either the front sticks out or the back does.

 Tomorrow has more sun forecast, but the wind is apparently due to continue. Not sure how far we are going to get, just as far as we want then stop.
