Well that was a pretty short day today (it sort of makes up for the 22 locks yesterday). Less than a mile and 2 locks, the reason for the short distance however was to stop off at Wightwick Manor the former home of a local MP ,Geoffrey Mander, now owned by the National Trust. It is an interesting visit with pleasant gardens and a very attractive house with a lot of William Morris works and connections.
Tomorrow on press on a bit further down the Staffs and Worcester canal.
