Another day’s cruise in fine spring weather has brought us as far as Whitchurch, which puts us slightly ahead of the schedule I’ve worked out for getting to Fazeley Mill Marina. As it is now school holidays and the  clocks have gone forward with the lighter evenings I’m surprised at how comparatively few boats there are on the move. It makes it easier for us but I was expecting to be meeting a lot more.

Tomorrow we’ll go through the Grindley Brook flight possibly aiming for Thomason’s Bridge where we moored on the way up.
