So, after the weekend at Washingborough, we’ve now moved onto our paid for mooring at Lincoln. Looking at some ot the moorings on the way here, there were some 14 day moorings but the problem is that if the boat is being left, all it takes is for some muppet to cast it adrift and since we are on a river, it could drift down to the next sluice. Safer (I hope) to pay to leave it here in a marina.

 

Today is supposed to be one of the hottest two days and when I booked into the marina office she told me that the temperature (at 1.45 pm) was already 31 degrees C. Tomorrow they are still threatening 41 degrees C, we’ll see what it eventually is.

 

We should be here for a couple of weeks now if all goes to plan.
