Have put the trip up Kyme Eau on hold for the time being and instead headed for Anton’s Gowt Lock, the lock that takes us down to go to Maud Foster windmill. The amended plan now is to do that trip tomorrow and, after returning back to here, head into Boston on Thursday. Have spoken with a guy moored here and his view is that moorings in Boston should be fairly easy to find. Getting through Anton’s Gowt Lock looks a bit challenging however since there isn’t much in the way of lock moorings to pick crew up from, we’ll need to figure out how we are going to work the lock.
