Still seem to be making good progress towards our hope of being back in the basin by next weekend. When we came this way in 2014 it took us 5 days to get where we are currently moored, this time we’ve got here in 2 days. To be hones there have been days when we would normally have just moored up, the first day coming out of Nantwich was a bit wet and again today we had an absolute deluge (which I don’t think was forecast). But since we now want to get back it was a case of pressing on. There are now only 2 locks left between here an Autherley Junction, but then of course we get the Wolverhampton flight of 21!

 I wont make any predictions of where we’ll get tomorrow, we’ll just see how it goes.
