Today’s trip was OK but not as pleasant as yesterday’s in sunny conditions. We got to our target destination of Saltisford at Warwick, and we’ll probably stay here until about Monday before we head up the Hatton flight.
Stopped off en route to get the weekend shop from Morrisons at Leamington Spa and then again at Cape bottom lock to fill with water. The tap there must be the slowest I’ve seen in a while, it took ages. Slightly annoyingly there was a boat locked on and moored on the lock moorings making tying up to take on water difficult, and impossible for anyone coming down the lock to pick their crew up. I don’t know why people moor like that when there are loads of other, less inconvenient places that they can moor.
