In amongst the showers we did get a bit of sunshine today, although when passing through Braunston Tunnel, that is a bit academic. It was quite busy coming down through Braunston Locks which was a bonus since we barely had to fill a lock or close a gate to get into each lock. It took about 2hours and 15 minutes to get from Norton Junction to Braunston without any sort of rush, just a gentle cruise.

Since we have one or two things to do, we may remain here until the end of the week (or perhaps longer if the carpentry repairs I’d like to get done can be scheduled).
