A very short hop today, taking us into Scarisbrick Marina where we will be staying until next Friday when we go down into Liverpool. An uneventful trip with the only work to be done by the crew was one swing bridge needed to to operated. The weather held up OK and we were here before lunchtime.
Took a walk into Southport (4 miles) to pick up the hire car we will using over the next few days, not really my style of car as it looks a bit like a boy-racer sort of car, but then whatever is cheapest will do for me!
