Once again we are keeping pretty much exactly to schedule, despite a 45 minute wait getting through Cholmondeston Lock, we seem to have got there at the rush hour since there were 4 boats waiting to go down the lock on our arrival, and an equal amount coming up.
Weather wasn’t quite so good today, dry but overcast from Nantwich to the lock, we stopped for lunch just after the lock and then it rained fairly continuously from then until we moored up again. It wasn’t heavy rain but enough to get you wet.
Checking back through my records, this seems to be another mooring that we have used quite a lot, eight times in all (today makes nine) so we are creatures of habit.
Tomorrow it will be on to Middlewich.
