Today we got as
far as the moorings above Sonning
Lock before the forecasted rain arrived and put paid to any further travel
today. Once again it was very pleasant coming along the Thames with the tree
lined embankments and regular ailes (islands) to work out which side we should
pass them on. This has got to be simply the best way to see the Thames.
Forecast for tomorrow is better with just cloud but reduced
chance of rain, although that is due to return on Monday before brightening up
for the rest of the week.
