Cookham

Here I am Rune
Distance 9.4 miles
Total 2085 Locks  90 Tunnels
Running total mileage 2927.6 miles

Another wonderful day on The Thames, not a lot of traffic and plenty of sun, what more can you ask for? The section to Cookham, where have moored for the night, is quite picturesque (although where isn’t on a sunny day?) with a section overlooked by the National Trust property at Cliveden. The tree lined banks of the Thames does occasionally make finding a mooring a bit more difficult, but we can usually find a way.
Interestingly, having checked back on previous blog pages, it appears that where we have now moored for the night is only about 40 metres from where we moored last time we passed through here. Perhaps shows a lack of imagination!
Tomorrow on towards Marlow and all points west.
