As planned, now moored in Abingdon. Again the trip was pleasant although the constant tree lined riverbank is becoming a bit more boring now. It was interesting passing through inhabited areas since you get to see what the houses are like, better than you can see from the road since they often have high walls and gates to protect their privacy from that side. On the river side, the whole purpose of living by a river is so that you can look at it so they always have unrestricted views of the river and of course those of us on the river have unrestricted views of the houses.

Last time we were in Abingdon we stayed for a few days since the mooring is free, I think it is likely that we are going to do the same again.
