Well today was a very pleasant autumnal cruise out of Birmingham to Hopwood. Sun was shining, no wind, reasoanably warm, not much more one caould ask for. Obviously being Autumn there will be issues with leaves in the canal, but all it takes is to drift for a bit in neutral and the ‘problem’ solves itself.

Not a lot of boats on the move today, just 4 since we set off, but that is fine. Of course we had to meet one of them in the middle of Wast Hill tunnel, but that is to be expected. Tomorrow on to the top of Tardebigge, whether we moor there or turn around an come back will depend on the weather.
