So when is the best day to do the Wolverhampton 21 flight of locks? On probably the hottest day of the year! We got to the top by about lunchtime so missed the worst of the heat, but it was still pretty hot coming up and I was in quite urgent need of water when we got to the top. It seems that the weed situation on the BCN is much the same as when we went down a couple of weeks ago, so it may well be a slow trip into Birmingham but at the moment we’ll leave that until Thursday, tomorrow it will be an attempt to get up the Bradley Arm to Bradley Workshops and then hopefully on to the Black Country museum moorings.
