Another pretty hot day, but at least there were only 2 locks to do, so not that onerous. Moored up at about 1.30pm under the shade of some trees before it became too hot and here we have remained. Tomorrow could be a bit of a challenge though, I may go against my normal practice and get off to an early start. We are about an hour or so from the bottom of the Wolverhampton flight but I’d like to get through it before the real heat of the day sets in, so may need to set off quite early.
