The day’s travel went pretty much according to plan, set off at about 10.30am and got to the night’s mooring here at Kingswood Junction by about 3pm after a day in warm sunshine working the locks. Surprising few people around today for a sunny Saturday, either walking the towpath or boating, although I suppose we are getting towards the end of September now, but it was a lovely day obviously missed by many.
Tomorrow the forecast is for a change in the weather, so we will have to see what it brings before deciding just how far (or not) we are going to travel.
