The weather held up excellently for the Black Country Boating Festival at Bumble Hole so we had a good couple of days there. The music on the Friday night wasn’t quite to my taste, but the group on Saturday night were competent and excellent. If was fascinating seeing just how crowded Bumble Hole got, compared with how deserted it normally is.

We’ve now moved on and headed into Birmingham City Centre for a couple of days as I have a blood donor session on Wednesday morning, then we head off down the Birmingham and Worcester canal, hopefully reaching Shirley on Thursday night.
